Give me a word - give me a sign. Show me where to look; tell me, what will I find? What will I find? Lay me on the ground and fly me in the sky. Show me where to look; tell me, what will I find? What will I find?
I have been wanting to do a manip for this song for ages. What's funny is that I didn't even think of the song until I started working on the lighting in this piece. So..yeah.
I love the overall feel of this picture, how the dark clouds contrast with the lush green of the field and the tree. I love the shadow in the back and how crisp it makes the horizon.
I have to disagree with ~SelenaSapphayre I love the flowers. They have a similar effect to the tree in breaking up the picture a bit so it's not just the same thing. I also feel like they serve a symbolic meaning. I also feel cropping them out would mean losing the detail in the grass in the foreground.
I would have liked this better if the field curved up more on the right side like it does on the left side.
Vision: I believe the vision gives a strong point of view and idea of something. I believe it was very creative and has a great theme.
Originality: I love how you took pieces of other artwork and put them together to create your own piece. It has a great approach and I've never seen something quite like this. Very lovely. It surprises me and makes me want to view the rest of your art!
Technique: I believe this took alot of skill and creativity to come up with this. Most people could not edit something like this, but I believe you really pulled it off!!
Impact: This gave a MAJOR impact on me! It blows my mind! It has a great emotion to it! I would love to see more of this kind of artwork!!
Overall I believe it is a great piece. Very creative and you have amazing skill and talent.
I wondered why you put the red flowers at the bottom where nothing is. Knowing red and green are complimentary colors and that the eye is drawn to the red based on this, I wondered "why at the bottom the bottom?" then I looked back up from them and suddenly noticed how vast the field really is.
They were part of the original photo, and I actually did think of editing them out at one point. I felt there would be too much green as a result, though.
I found you art through your "Fire and Ice" pictures I clicked on your profile, and your art always stuns me. The details, the colors, the texture! All soooo amazing! GREAT job
