'Simple and unoriginal' you say...

Whilst this is true; with 'Majesty,' it really doesn't matter. A majestic piece of artwork, which in my opinion is worthy of a Daily Deviation. For me, the lens flare positioned at the top of the planet draws my eyes to that point, and the shining effect on the edge of said planet give it that extra spurt to make this photomanipulation truly come to life.

Not only is the image itself extremely eye-friendly, but the stocks used are fantastic too. I have to compliment you on your choice of stocks here, (and the stockmakers for.. well.. making the stocks and allowing you to use them.) The colourisation of the whole image to a purple also works extremely well, providing the 'mystical' feel that this image evokes in the viewer.

I am a firm believer in providing constructive criticism, and points to improve, and I shall do this for your piece here. Whilst there is nothing wrong with your technique, I believe that the horizon at the left of the image looks too much like the sea just 'drops' off. To improve, I suggest making it look like the sea goes on for much longer, instead of coming to an abrupt halt.

Fortunately, this is no major fault, and I still believe that this is a fantastic piece of art. I give it 9/10 <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)"/> well done!
