The list of stock and prizes has been updated.

Uh, oh. It's time for my second contest.

This time around, I'd thought to challenge you artists a little more.

Yes, the contest involves manipulating photos. However, there is a twist. Instead of choosing what stock you use, there will be a limited selection open to you.

Rules/guidelines:
The majority (but not all!) of your manipulation must contain stocks from the given choices. You may find some textures or other little odds and ends to use ("odds and ends" being little details you may want to add). Also, you do not need to use a piece from each category listed below.
Make sure you read each stock artists' rules! This is a must. Also, always give credit and link back to the original image. Please remember to do this, or the entry will not be accepted. And ALWAYS remember to notify the stock artist that you used his or her image.
No "mature" entries, please.
There will be 3 different categories to keep judging fair: beginner, intermediate, and advanced (when submitting your entry or entries via note, please state which category you fall under - if you can't decide, however, I don't mind choosing for you).
There isn't a limit on submissions. Just remember, you will be judged on creativity.
To guarantee all entrants enough time to get some entries completed, the contest will be held over a period of two months. September 29th to November 29th.

There isn't much so far in the way of prizes, but there is a lot of time for things to be added. Please check back on this journal to see a more recent list (there will be an updated news article later down the road, however).

The prizes will be the same for each category, whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced.

Not sure which category you fall under?

A beginner would be someone who just started out doing manips, or has a lot of trouble completing them.

Intermediate is where they come easier to you, but there are some elements that just don't seem to turn out right.

Advanced is where you can pretty much do them in your sleep; you can do a complicated one quickly with barely any flaws.
